AWS Class ENiCrMo-4 coated electrodes are nickel-based electrodes with a typical composition of Nickel (balance), Chromium 20–23%, Molybdenum 8–10%, Iron ≤5%, Niobium + Tantalum 3.15–4.15%, Carbon ≤0.10%, Manganese ≤0.50%, Silicon ≤0.50%, Phosphorus ≤0.02%, and Sulfur ≤0.015%. They offer excellent tensile strength (minimum ~760 MPa), good elongation, and outstanding resistance to cracking, oxidation, and high-temperature corrosion.
