AWS Class ENiCu-7 coated electrodes are nickel-copper based electrodes with a typical composition of Nickel 60–70%, Copper 25–35%, Iron ≤2.5%, Manganese ≤1.0%, Silicon ≤1.0%, Carbon ≤0.15%, Phosphorus ≤0.02%, and Sulfur ≤0.02%. The weld metal exhibits good tensile strength (approximately 480–550 MPa), excellent ductility, and outstanding resistance to corrosion in seawater and many chemical environments, while maintaining stable mechanical performance over a wide temperature range.
